Meet AE's Q2 2023 Quarterly Rockstar

While giving kudos are a part of everyday life at AE, the team at AE take's time each quarter to specifically celebrate someone who has displayed AE’s Core Values and promotes AE’s culture. The recipients of the Rockstar Award are team members who go above and beyond in their daily work lives, help their colleagues during tough times, propose and find solutions, and do it all while laughing and having fun along the way.

To continue fostering a positive culture, AE started the Quarterly Rockstar program in 2022. Since then, AE continues to trend positive in employee morale and engagement. While receiving recognition for our own Top Workplaces awards is wonderful, what really validates that AE is a great place to work is the tenure of the people who work here. The average tenure at AE is 10.5 years! We are so proud of the longevity of the team here, and we are dedicated to keeping that streak going.

Ask anyone at AE what they like most about working here and the response will be, “the people.” Ask anyone at AE what makes AE unique, and the response will be, “the people.” It’s the people that make the phenomenal talent at AE. It’s the people that make the thriving culture at AE. AE continues to celebrate team member by giving shout outs on weekly calls, celebrating wins together and awarding a Rockstar Award quarterly to those who have done an exceptional job at embodying AE’s Core Values!

AE’s 2023 Q2 Rockstar Award Recipient is Zac Wolter. Zac has been a member of the AE team since June 2021 and plays an important role on our Solutions Engineering team.

Don’t blush, Zac, but here are a few of the kudos he has received over the last year from his colleagues:

• Kudos to Zac for the work he's been doing at clients and his services work. Zac came into AE and hit the ground running. Zac does not just do his job, but he's doing it with passion to learn and grow as an engineer

• Thank you for the awesome work you have been doing. The work you gave been putting in is impressive

• Zac has done a great job powering through challenges and finding ways to solve the problems that have come up.

• Shout out to Zac for dealing with a highly sensitive issue at a client. Zac went above and beyond purposing solutions, being available to assist. Saved the whole situation!

• Recognition to Zac! Many different moving parts going on with clients. It's been difficult, but he has great patience. Great job!

• Shout out to Zac, specifically his high level of effort, never impeded the quality of work. Kudos to Zac!

• Shout out to Zac, it's not all after hours work and putting the time in but learning as well. There's always stuff going on at clients that is new and more unique in architect and engineering that we need to spend time completing correctly. Not those efforts only of working on client solutions, but thank you for the efforts that go into the other implementation types.

• Big props to Zac for the service work he has been doing over the last year!

We also wanted to pick Zac's brain to find out why he like's working at AE.
